Craig Curry
A widely-published composer and arranger, Craig is also a university music professor. a pianist and accompanist, a recording artist, and a former worship pastor.
In 2009, he joined the faculty at Friends University in Wichita where he founded and directs the Jazz Vocal Ensemble. Under his leadership, the ensemble was honored to perform at the the 2014 Southwest ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) conference in Little Rock, where they opened for the popular vocal group, Pentatonix. They also performed at the 2013 JEN (Jazz Education Network) conference in Atlanta and the 2017, 2015, 2012 KMEA (Kansas Music Educators Association) conferences in Wichita. Over the years, he has also taught choral arranging, vocal jazz improvisation, and Senior Seminar, a class designed to prepare graduation music majors for the next phase of their careers.
Craig considers his most important roles to be that of husband and father, and knows he is very fortunate to be happily married to Amy, and the father of 2 teenagers, Ella and Cole.
