Chris Yung

Christopher Yung, a native of Chicago, IL, discovered his love for music at a young age as a member of the Chicago Children’s Choir (now Uniting Voices Chicago) which gave him the privilege and honor of performing on some of the greatest stages and learning from some of the best conductors, music educators, and vocalists. Upon graduating from high school, he pursued a career in music education, which led him to graduate from VanderCook College of Music, where he furthered his passion to give back what was given to him from the many teachers, conductors, and mentors he had. He taught high school and junior high school choir and general music in Chicago, IL, and Joliet, IL, before coming to MakeMusic, where he is able to continue supporting music educators and their students as a Customer Success Account Manager. In addition to his work at MakeMusic, Christopher still teaches privately, performs locally, and is the current Deputy Province Governor of Province 37 with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
