I started playing in a baby band at age 68 having never played in a band before. I graduated to the "big band" at age 69. Very proud to have played the concert bells in this beautiful piece as a member of the town band.

Nothing gets me in the feels much like the ending to this song. I played the timpani part in my high school band and although my band days are behind me, this song takes me back to all those memories and people. I'll miss you guys... wherever you may be <3

Playing oboe for this piece for our November concert! The oboe solo and this whole piece is very well written :)

I haven't even played it at a concert yet, that's like next month, but this is gonna be my final concert, and our second band teacher chose this song for us. The current senior grade was the first group he taught at our school, and I am calling it now this is going to be leaving me trying to hold the tears back by the end. Is it unwarranted? Yes. But is this beautiful and does it have intense emotional resonance to me? Yes.
