Description
Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) composed his masterpiece, IBERIA (12 IMPRESIONES ESPAÑOLAS), between 1905 and 1909. The piano work consists of four books, with three pieces in each. Impressionistic in nature, it was praised highly by Claude Debussy and Olivier Messiaen, and it is considered to be one of the most challenging piano works in the repertoire. Book 1 includes the following: 10. Málaga; 11. Jérez; 12. Eritaña. Reprint edition.
