In today's multicultural society, it is getting more difficult to plan a holiday concert. This arrangement successfully combines a Christmas song, a Chanukah song and a New Year's song for your orchestra. Each section of the orchestra gets an opportunity to shine. The piece begins with "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." The "Dreidel Song" (a popular Chanukah song) follows, with the melody shared between the cellos and woodwinds. To bring everyone together, the perennial favorite New Year's song "Auld Lang Syne" brings the piece to a rousing conclusion.
