You do not know how many years I've been trying to remember this song. I played it in my grade 8 band class when I was learning to play piano from said class, and this is, I think, the first song I could flawlessly play (though us pianists got flute music), and forgot the name and just always knew the tune and notes and could play it. It has been 4 freaking years.
i am sad because we are done with band lesson and we already had our last concert and one of my favorite songs was Fire's Edge and The Tempest 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
My 6th grade class played this as our outro from elementary. I will never forget that day
We play in a band and we have the song but the HUH, CLAPPING HANDS, STOMP FEET are pretty difficult!
I'm playing this for spring concert. I play trombone and I kinda suck at the solos
I do percussion and this song is mildly difficult because percussion plays non-stop. But I love it
Our band played this at competition and we got first!
i played this in 6th grade and it was so fun, it's my second favorite song
My terrior band is playing this for our end of the year concert at Sea-Pack with 500 people there!! I'm percussion, and I start it off!
i play percussion and this is extremely helpful cuz i play AMAZING with the band but @ home, I suck!
the flute part in this is so fun!!
Just played this for a concert and it was so fun (im clarinet) though it kind of sounds like a ritual in my opinion 😂
I am a trumpet player for OFMS band. We got this song a month ago for 6th grade band and we have a concert on December 13th. If I do say so myself, our band has nailed it! Last thing: when there are 14 secs left, best trumpet part ever!!
We played this song at my 8th grade band camp. I love this song so much
I played this for All-Star on the tuba, pretty nice
I remember having to learn the snare part cuz I was a percussionist for introduction to band but I was so advanced that I was just moved to band just to play it again as the bass drum 😂
So addicting yet so difficult
I have to play this in band. It's a really cool song but it's pretty complicated with all the piano and forte around in it
Had to play all of the brass parts, not just the trombone parts. Such a fun song to play!
the clapping and stomping are so hard to do and then measure nine, that's just a hard transition. (i play euphonium)
My first time playing suspended cymbal and wow did I suck at it, fun song though
I remember i played this for junior clinic December 2023. I played it on trombone. Etsboa junior clinic was a blast and I'd love to do it again!! Reply to this if you were there. I would love to chat with some of those people once more! ❤
As a clarinet, I say the first clarinet solo is hard because you don't have time to breathe and when you get to whole note you can barely play. When u get to when all instruments join in
Lol my band is lacking instruments, we only have one baritone, five flutes, five clarinets, two saxophones, six trumpets, and six percussionists 😂 we are lacking low brass so the way we play this song is horrible. I play the flute
