Devotion (Ab imo pectore) is the second half of Jean Sibelius' (1865-1957) Two Pieces for Violin or Cello and Orchestra, Op. 77. Completed in 1915, the first performance was held in Helsinki on March 30, 1916 with Ossian Fohström on cello, and the Helsinki City Orchestra conducted by the composer. Solo Vn: Str (9-8-7-6-5 in set).
