Suggested corresponding lectionary readings include Ezekiel 37: 1-14, Psalm 104, John 15:26-27, 16:4b-15, and 20: 19-23, Acts 2: 1-21, Romans 8: 22-27, and 1 Corinthians 12: 3-7, 12-13. One basic homiletical theme is calling the Holy Spirit to bring new life to the Church, sustaining and protecting it through the love of God.
