The Yamaha Band Method is a comprehensive curriculum designed for beginning and intermediate concert band students learning to read music and play their instruments together. Created by respected educators including Sandy Feldstein and John Kinyon, these books guide students through foundational technique, rhythm, and ensemble skills. Things to consider
Start with Book 1 if your students are new to reading music and their instrument; move to later books only once they're comfortable with basic rhythm patterns and note reading.
