Things to consider
Start with Volume 1 of your instrument to establish fundamentals, then advance sequentially as your student progresses. Many teachers pair the student book with the corresponding teacher or accompaniment editions for full lesson support. Digital formats and CDs are useful for practicing with recorded accompaniments at home, especially in the early volumes where students benefit from hearing the melodies performed correctly.
