Chansons de Normandie: Wind Band Score & Parts

Chansons de Normandie was commissioned by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force and premiered on BBC Radio 2 as part of their D-Day broadcast from the Royal Albert Hall, London on June 6th, 2014. This four-minute work is based on three traditional Normandy folk songs: Les Metamorphoses * Le marchand de velours * Le corselet. An ideal concert opener, the work is in a lively dance tempo with suggestions of Renaissance dance music. Arranged for wind band.
