It’s revival time! What a delightful partnering of two 19th century American folk hymn melodies. The first, Brethren, We Have Met to Worship, is found in Columbian Harmon, 1825; the second, How Firm a Foundation, in Funk’s Genuine Church Music, 1832. This exuberant 2-part mixed arrangement evokes the spirit of a 19th century camp meeting revival.
