Michael Hanawalt is the Director of Graduate Choral Studies at Florida State University. Dr. Hanawalt holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from St. Olaf College, an M.M. in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in Choral Music Education from Florida State University. He is the recipient of the 2016 Mickey and Pete Armstrong Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Wichita State University College of Fine Arts.

Enrique Lacárcel has a degree in musicology from the University of Granada, a Master of Music from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. and a Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of Jaén. His music has been performed and recorded all around Europe and America. After developing a career as a professional choir singer, he currently combines his permanent teaching work with composition and musical interpretation.

Jerry Lim is a veteran music educator having taught for 30 years at all levels of K–12 music education. He received his BA and MA in Music Education from the University of Washington. Growing up in multiracial Malaysia, Jerry studied piano performance and was immersed in various European, American, and Asian cultural and musical backgrounds which enculturated him with a unique perspective in the integration of Western and Eastern melodies and music. Jerry currently teaches high school choir in Washington.

Sarah Martinez is a fine arts administrator for Pflugerville ISD near Austin, Texas. Previously she taught choir for six years and elementary music for seven years in Texas public schools. She received a Bachelor of Music summa cum laude from Texas State University and completed a master's degree and Kodály Certification. Her Doctor of Education degree in Teacher Leadership is from Walden University.

Justine Sasanfar is a pianist, teacher, and writer based in Tallahassee, Florida. In collaboration with her husband, Michael Hanawalt, she arranges and publishes music for choral ensembles. As a performer, Dr. Sasanfar is a frequent collaborator with vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs and enjoys improvising in solo settings. She completed a Ph.D. in Music Education-Piano Pedagogy from Florida State University, M.M. degrees in Piano Pedagogy and Collaborative Piano at Michigan State University, and a B.M. in Piano Performance from St. Olaf College.

Michael Yannette is a professional pianist and accompanist, music educator, music director, composer, arranger, actor, and playwright. Mr. Yannette recently retired from 34 years of teaching music, a career in which he was twice honored as Teacher of the Year at Grandview Preparatory School in Boca Raton, FL, and Cherokee Central Schools in Cherokee, NC. He is the co-founder of the Men’s Chorus of the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, a nationally recognized community choral organization in West Palm Beach, Fl. Mr. Yannette is a graduate of Florida State University.
