Free Activity: My Music Moments

As we are living through an unprecedented and historic moment in time, this music moments time capsule will encourage young music students to reflect on their experiences and document their feelings, the music they're learning and playing, and set goals. Use this as a remote assignment, extra credit, or a creative exercise.

Instruct students to complete the first page of the below PDF with all of their information, and encourage creativity by adding some color to the image. The second page of the PDF is intended to be completed on a weekly basis to help students reflect on their feelings, their music practice, and their goals. Students may wish to store their completed capsules in a binder, or seal in an envelope and save for a later time.
