Listening to this almost 4 years later is so nostalgic. The piece where my sister broke the tom. I didn't even notice because I was too busy playing the oboe part.

This was an amazing song to play marimba on because you could just listen and play an interesting pattern

This was my favorite song out of my whole senior year of high school and the funny thing is I don't think my band teacher realized that he scrapped this piece and brought it back 2 years later

I played timpani for this piece this week for my concert. I have to say, the 7/8 was so unique I've never played anything like it and absolutely LOVED IT! By far one of my favorite pieces to play.

I'm playing this in concert band, and a bunch of the other eighth graders complain about how boring their parts are and I have two things to tell them: 1. Pick a better instrument 2. The whole point of having multiple instruments is to provide layers to the music, if everyone plays the melody it won't sound as good. Listen to any grade piece where everyone plays the same thing, it's not that impressive, but with just a little bit more diversity and all of a sudden it is much more beautiful
