Valeaira Luppens

Valeaira Luppens served as an elementary music specialist in the Lee's Summit, Missouri School District for 20 years. She is a recipient of the Expect the Best award, a district-wide honor for exemplary teaching and service. The award encompasses all disciplines and is awarded to one outstanding staff member, monthly. Valearia earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Central Missouri State University and her Master of Educational Psychology in Research with an emphasis in Gifted/Talented studies from Kansas University. She has belonged to Music Educators National Conference (MENC) throughout her teaching experience and received her certification from the American Orff-Schulwerk Association.
