Danny Raymond

Danny Raymond, considered a top performer in the marching idiom, has enjoyed a varied career in the world of percussion. He was a member of the New York Skyliners Drum Corps, as well as instructing or consulting with such corps as the Syracuse Brigadiers, Carolina Gold, Boston Crusaders, and the Santa Clara Vanguard. Danny is a two-time Drum Corps Associates Individual Snare Drum Champion (1989, 1990).
In addition to his teaching, writing, and judging, he has enjoyed an impressive career of over 30 years with the Walt Disney World Company which includes performing, writing/show design, and Casting Associate. Recently, Danny was recognized for 25 years with the popular group Jammitors, a group he co-founded and continues to perform with. His published work includes written articles as well as music. He is very proud to present Let It Rip as well as the four volume Elements in Time, solos for snare drum available through Tapspace Publications. Danny's clinics and performances have seen him travel throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and Canada, performing with percussion greats such as Danny Gottlieb, Evelyn Glennie, Zoro, and the late great Joe Morello.
