Charles Tomlinson Griffes (1884-1920) wrote these settings of two poems, THIS BOOK OF HOURS, A.36 (poem by Walter Crane) and COME, LOVE, ACROSS THE SUNLIT LAND, A.37 (poem by Clinton Scollard) around 1914. These early songs by Griffes have often been difficult to obtain, so this edition is most welcome. Reprint edition.
