Description
French composer Théodore Dubois (1837-1924) won the Prix de Rome in 1861. A professor at the Paris Conservatoire, he composed a variety of instrumental and chamber works, as well as music for the stage including ballets and operas. Each of his TWELVE NEW PIECES FOR ORGAN (DOUZE PIÈCES NOUVELLES POUR ORGUE), published in 1886, was dedicated to a prominent organist of the nineteenth or early twentieth centuries. Titles: 1.
