Description
American composer Ethelbert Nevin (1862-1901) wrote A DAY IN VENICE (UN GIORNO IN VENEZIA): SUITE ROMANTIQUE, Op. 25 for piano in 1898. In four movements (1. Alba [Dawn]; 2. Gondolieri [Gondoliers]; 3. Canzone Amorosa [Love Song]; 4. Buona Notte [Good Night]), the music depicts Nevin's impressions while in the Italian city.
