Ye Merry Men: String Orchestra, Score and Parts

This upbeat setting of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" starts with a funky Latin bass line in the low strings. Fragments of the tune enter with some cool syncopated patterns; some of these patterns come back only to be matched with a harmony change. There are some challenges, but sections support each other and move together. A nice change of pace at the holidays!
