Description
The title is a play on words: the style is that of a polka, with the staccato style indicated by dots over or under the note heads. This piece was originally composed for flute trio. It has been so popular that we are happy to publish it for trumpet trio as well. The trumpet parts are in F major, and the first part lies in good range - just a few top line F's. The third part goes down to low A several times but does not dwell in that range. The beginning and ending are staccato, and the middle section is lyrical for contrast. Your trumpets will love it!
