Description
Lest We Forget was composed in two parts, Lest We Forget and America the Beautiful, to pay homage to our founding fathers and their noble experiment in democracy: 'conceived in liberty.' The music is intended to reflect the mood of a quiet, reverent memory with its chorale-like nature. This particular setting was written on Veterans Day the November following our great tragedy (September 11, 2001).
