These TWO SCHUMANN SONGS are both taken from his ALBUM FOR THE YOUNG (ALBUM FÜR DIE JUGEND), Op. 68 for piano and arranged for mallet percussion quartet by Laurie Lafferty. Included: I. Rustic Song (Ländliches Lied), Op. 68, No. 20; II. Wild Horseman (Wilder Reiter), Op. 68, No. 8. An optional percussion part has been provided to add tonal color, rhythmic stability, and additional performance opportunities for the younger player.
