Alfred's Essentials of Music Theory 2.0c - We are now offering a downloadable Mac OS X version of EMT 2.0 (named EMT 2.0c). This update will use the exact same CD-ROM disc as the original EMT 2.0 software uses. The file downloads below contain only the newly updated EMT 2.0c files, so you will need your original EMT 2.0 disk for the installation.

Both of these links contain the exact same files. The installer can ONLY be run on a MAC OSX machine.

Network Version

Note: If you already have EMT 2c Preview Version installed, please uninstall before installing this version. Make a Text File backup of your student files if you wish to keep them.

The main difference between EMT 2.0 and EMT 2.0c is the use of a new database program. Student files will be saved with a .v12 extension rather than .dbf. If you need to transfer students between EMT 2.0c and EMT 2.0, you should choose to export a .txt file.
