Alfred Music Publishing Titles Selected for the Florida Orchestra Association 2012-13 Music List

Alfred Music Publishing, the official print music publisher of thousands of popular artists, songwriters, and composers, is proud to announce the inclusion of 32 Highland/Etling and Belwin string and full-orchestra selections added to the 2012-13 Florida Orchestra Association music list.

The music on the FOA List features a wide variety of works selected to challenge students’ skills and to broaden their musical horizon. The list includes all string and full-orchestra titles mandatory for participation in District or State Concert MPA for Florida music ensembles. The Highland/Etling and Belwin titles chosen for the new music list comprise of some of this year’s top sellers, including Waltz from Sleeping Beauty, As Twilight Falls, The Last Rose of Summer, Two Modal Episodes, and many more.

The Florida Orchestra Association aims to support, promote, and expand school orchestra programs throughout the State of Florida. The organization provides support and training for members in teaching, leadership, and advocacy, and empowers members through mentoring and continuing education.
