Alfred Music Publishing, the world leader in educational print music publishing since 1922, in conjunction with Guitar World Magazine, introduces the new Guitar World instructional songbooks with the release of Acoustic Rock and Classic Rock editions, each featuring 25 of the most important and signature guitar-driven songs matched with step-by-step lessons.

The new Guitar World Expressway To . . . series features easy-to-use TAB arrangements and is designed to place intermediate and novice players on the fast track to mastering many of the greatest guitar songs of all time. Each song is accompanied by a detailed lesson focused on critical guitar parts, by Guitar World editor Jimmy Brown. The two included CDs contain full-length sound-alike demonstration and play-along recordings. Additionally, the included TNT (Tone 'N' Tempo) Changer software on the discs allows users to slow the tracks down, loop sections, change keys, mute the guitar, or even mute the vocals for singing practice. More than just lessons, the method also contains various sections of additional information such as tips on gear and effects settings, artist biographies, including interesting anecdotes about the artist, band, and songs.

Expressway to Acoustic Rock arrangements include 25 of the greatest acoustic rock songs ever recorded, such as “Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You,” “Better Together,” “Black Water,” “Bron-Yr-Aur,” “Can’t Find My Way Home,” “Embryonic Journey,” “Everlong (Acoustic),” “Fake Plastic Trees,” and many more.

Expressway to Classic Rock features 25 of the most important classic rock guitar songs of all time, such as “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2),” “Brown Sugar,” “Don't Stop Believin',” “Hotel California,” “Layla,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “Sunshine of Your Love,” and many more.
