Alfred Music Publishing, the official print music publisher of thousands of popular artists and songwriters, is proud to announce the release of The Diane Warren Sheet Music Collection, a piano/vocal songbook of 30 sheet music bestsellers from Grammy® award-winning songwriter, Diane Warren.
The Diane Warren Sheet Music Collection gives musicians and aspiring songwriters the opportunity to perform, as well as explore the form and nuance of Warren’s best-loved songs that have been recorded and performed by today’s chart topping artists, including “Born to Be Somebody” (Justin Bieber), “How Do I Live” (LeAnn Rimes), “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” (Aerosmith), “I Turn to You” (Christina Aguilera), “If I Could Turn Back Time” (Cher), “There You’ll Be” (Faith Hill) “Unbreak My Heart” (Toni Braxton), and many more. The songbook is a highlight of Warren’s most celebrated works—chock-full of hits spanning virtually every music genre—and is a display of her uncanny ability to write universally appealing songs. Considered the most prolific and successful songwriter of our time, Warren’s illustrious career is chronicled with a detailed biography in the songbook, along with color photos marking memorable career achievements.
Diane Warren has been a songwriter since the age of 14, where she was influenced by songwriting greats such as Carole King, Leiber and Stoller, and Burt Bacharach. Her career has grown tremendously since her first song to hit the charts in 1983. To date, Warren-penned songs have been nominated for five Golden Globe awards (winning for “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me”), six Academy awards, and nine Grammy awards (winning for “Because You Loved Me”). Warren is a six-time recipient of ASCAP’s “Songwriter of the Year” award, won Billboard’s “Songwriter of the Year” four times, and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001.
"Without a doubt, she's the hardest-working songwriter I've ever known,” said David Foster, record producer, composer, and singer/songwriter who frequently produces with Warren. "She's truly an island, and somehow she taps into the masses. The fact that she can do it by herself is extra special. She doesn't seem to need to rely on anybody else."
As part of Alfred’s ongoing commitment to improving the environment, this songbook is printed on 100% recycled paper stock.
The Diane Warren Sheet Music Collection (00-37493) is now available for $19.99 at music retail stores and at alfred.com.
