Alfred Congratulates CMA Award Winners

Forming in 2006, Lady Antebellum has rapidly become one of the hottest country groups today. The group was named “Top New Group” at the 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards, and now receiving “Vocal Group of the Year” and earning “Single of the Year” with “I Run To You” from their self-titled debut album, Lady Antebellum, the group received new honors last night at the 43rd CMA Awards. Receiving five nominations for this year’s event, Keith Urban took home the CMA for “Musical Event of the Year,” for his collaboration with Paisley on “Start a Band.” A staple in country music, Keith Urban has released multiple multi-platinum albums, including one of his most popular albums, Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing.
