Terre McPheeters lives in Kansas City, Missouri, and currently teaches K-5 music at Harry S Truman Elementary School in the Hickman Mills CSD-1. She graduated from Northwest Missouri University and has obtained the Master’s degree in music education. Terre has taught music on all levels in Missouri for 27 years and is well known throughout the Midwest as a clinician, adjudicator and motivational speaker. She has been a published choral composer since 1981 and has more than 100 choral pieces in print, specializing in music for the young singer. Her enthusiasm for life and her passion for education are evident in her music. Terre is the Music Director at the Rosedale United Church of Christ in Kansas City, Kansas, where she plays for the services and directs the Adult Choir, Children’s Choir and the Handbell Choir. Terre has been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Society International since 1997. She was a member of the Golden Gift Leadership Class of 2008. Terre received the Delta State Achievement Award in 2013 and was the Southwest Regional Music Director in 2014.
