Sean Conor Anderson is the Artistic Director for the Aurora Children’s Choir and director of Dryden High School’s a cappella group “Beyond Measure” (for whom Alfred's Build Me Up Buttercup arrangement was written). A graduate of the Ithaca College School of Music, his conducting credits include the IC Men’s Chorus, the IC Concerto Ensemble, and several county and regional festivals. He has had the privilege of studying conducting with such leaders as Joseph Flummerfelt, Ann Howard Jones, Janet Galvàn, and Kenneth Kiesler. An adamant supporter of living composers, he has already led the premieres of works by Moses Hogan, John Armstrong, and Rick Bartlett. He lives in central New York, maintains an active private voice studio, and is the youth leader for the Glad Tidings Christian Life Church.
