Patrick Roszell

(1976– )

Patrick Roszell (b. 1976) recieved a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Jacksonville State University (AL) and a Master's degree from Troy University (AL). His arranging and composition teachers include Dr. Wiliam Jerryl Davis, Mr. Robert W. Smith, and Mr. Ralph Ford. His primary trumpet professor is Dr. John C. Merriman, and his primary conducting professor is Mr. Kenneth G. Bodiford.


Patrick's arrangements have been performaed throughout the country by numerous concert and marching emsembles, including the nationally renown Jacksonville State University "Marching Southerners," the Troy University "Sound of the South," the DCI world finalist "Glassmen" Drum and Bugle Corps of Toledo, OH, and the prestigious United States Marine Band, "The President's Own." His professional background includes instrumental editorial work at Warner Bros. Publications in Miami, FL (now Alwfred Music Publishing Co.) and the FJH Music Company of Fort Lauderdale, FL. 


Patrick is currently a staff arranger for the Belwin Division of Alfred Music Publishing in Los Angeles, CA. He also serves on the brass and music staff of the Jacksonville State University "Marching Southerners."
