C. Long is a composer of works for organ, choirs, recorder consorts, and
handbell choirs. Dr. Long holds degrees in composition from Oberlin College
(Mus. B.), and the University of Iowa (M.A.). In 1962 he earned Fellowship
Certification from the American Guild of Organists (FAGO) and the following
year received a D.M.A. degree in organ performance from the University
of Arizona. In addition to teaching privately and at several colleges,
he was Minister of Music at the First Congregational Church in Saginaw,
Michigan for more than 30 years. Dr. Page retired in 1998 and lives in
Arizona, where he continues his composing and studies in music history
and score reading.
