Lynn Kleiner began her "active" approach to music education in 1978. She is founder and director of Music Rhapsody, a music school for parents and infants, toddlers and young children up through the eighth grade. She and her team of teachers also provide music to day care centers, preschools and elementary schools. Lynn is a frequent presenter for organizations such as Music Educator's National Conference (MENC), the American Music Therapy Association, the American Orff Schulwerk Association (AOSA), the Victorian Orff Association (Australia), as well as school districts, early childhood associations and parent groups worldwide.
Lynn is author of the books Kids Make Music, Babies Make Music Too!; In All Kinds of Weather, Kids Make Music!; The Sound Shape Play Book; and Kids Can Listen, Kids Can Move! She also has her own line of percussion instruments through REMO, Inc. Lynn's instrument and video/DVD kits, known for their high quality and durability, have received the prestigious Oppenheim award, the Dove Award, and the recommendation of the National Parenting Association. Her DVD, In All Kinds of Weather, Kids Make Music!, was named one of Parenting Magazine's video picks of the month.
