Kyle Pace earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Bachelors in Liberal Arts in 2000 from the University of Missouri Kansas City. He continued his professional education to obtain a Master of Arts in Educational Technology in 2004 from Lesley University. Mr. Pace is currently an Instructional Technology Specialist with the Lee’s Summit, Missouri School District and conducts professional development sessions on integrating technology into the curriculum. Mr. Pace has also taught graduate level educational technology courses both in face to face and online formats for two local universities and is a Content Developer for Atomic Learning, Inc.
Mr. Pace works closely with the Music department in his district to provide on-going instructional technology support, providing training on such topics as Interactive White Boards, Interactive Response Systems, effective use of a classroom web page for instruction, and Web 2.0. In addition, he has assisted his district’s music teachers with the successful implementation of MP3 players to use in conjunction with their textbook series.
Kyle’s wife, Nikki, is also an elementary music teacher in the Lee’s Summit, Missouri district. They have two children, ages two and four, who are amazing yet could learn to be a little better about sleeping in! Kyle also enjoys playing tuba in his church orchestra.
