Kenon D. Renfrow

Dr. Kenon D. Renfrow is a member of the piano faculty and coordinator of group piano at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. He holds a Ph.D in Music Education with an emphasis in keyboard pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma.

He was a Professor of Keyboard Performance and Director of Keyboard Pedagogy at the University of Miami where he established a preparatory piano program for pre-college students.

Dr. Renfrow presents workshops and conducts ongoing research in the educational applications of MIDI, computers and digital keyboard technology. He has made professional recordings on the Yamaha Disklavier™, used the Clavinova™ digital piano in his group piano classes, and is the creator of the MIDI accompaniment disks and co-author of Alfred's Group Piano Course.
