John Kuzmich, Jr. is a veteran music educator, jazz educator and music technologist. His music technology column appears regularly in School Band and Orchestra magazine with more than 110 featured articles, publsihed online and directly linked from www.kuzmich.com/articles/html.
Dr. Kuzmich is a nationally known music educator with 40+ yearas of public school teaching, with specialties in jazz education, music technology and videoconferencing instruction. He is one of only 35 TI:ME (Technology Institute for Music Educators) nationally certified institutional instructors to serve as a training instructor throughout the country. His academic background also includes a Ph.D. in comprehnsive musicianship. As a freelance author, he has more than 500 nationally published articles and five textbooks to his credits.
As a clinician, Dr. Kuzmich frequently participates in workshops throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, and South America. This past school year, he guest presented in Hawaii, Switzerland, and Poland, besides recently retiring as a public school educator for the past 43 years.
