Jennifer Kamradt is a composer for the elementary general music classroom. Currently she enjoys teaching K-8 general music, band, and choir in Lincoln, IL.
Jennifer completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Illinois State University and a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois. She received all three levels of Orff Schulwerk training at Illinois State University. Having a longtime love of learning, Jennifer is currently attending Illinois State University, pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Library and Media Science.
Jennifer is actively involved and serves as treasurer for the Heart of Illinois Orff Chapter. She has proudly conducted the barred ensemble these past three years for the Heart of Illinois Orff Chapter Honor’s Day. In 2011, Jennifer was honored to represent the Heart of Illinois Orff Chapter Session at Illinois Music Educator’s Conference.
In 2012, Jennifer presented at the Illinois Music Educator’s Conference with the topic of “From Classroom to Performance.” In 2013, she was honored to present at AOSA National Conference in Denver, CO. The topics were: "The Power of the Rhythm Circle: Literacy through Mallets and Drum" and "Improvisation: From Classroom to Performance." Jennifer Kamradt is the author of That’s So Orff!
