Jeffrey Horvath began studying piano at the age of five, voice at the
age of fourteen, and has been composing throughout his entire life.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Miami University in
Oxford, Ohio and is the recipient of the Hill Composition Prize.
While at Miami, he studied Composition with Dr. James Sheppard, piano
with Dr. Robert Thomas, and was a member of the Men's Glee Club (now
over one hundred years old!) under the direction of Dr. Ethan Sperry.
His first choral work, Demon in My View, was notably performed at the
National Intercollegiate Men's Choral Seminar at Harvard University.
