Henry Bellson

The younger brother to Louie, Henry is also an accomplished drummer, composer, author and educator. He has played and/or recorded with such greats as Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey, Tony Pastor, Ray Brown, Tal Farlow, Oscar Pettiford and Hank Jones. He is the author or co-author, along with brother Louis, of such drum books as Bellson's Complete Drum Method-Volumes 1 and 2, Bone Structure Drum Book and Rock-Jazz Phrasing. Henry currently teaches in the Los Angeles area, something he has done for the past 30 years.
