Brad Pfeil is currently an orchestra director at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, Illinois. He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Pfeil’s previous teaching experience includes 11 years in Clark County, Nevada, where he was also adjunct bass professor at UNLV.
Pfeil’s performance experience includes six seasons with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, four of those as principal double bass. He has also played as a member of Peoria Symphony.
Pfeil was conductor of the Henderson Civic Symphony for five seasons, and directed the Desert Springs Arts Orchestra for two years. Pfeil teaches a private studio and is past president of the Nevada chapter of the American String Teachers Association.
