Anna Wentlent attended the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, from which she received her bachelor’s degree in music education. Four months of that time were spent in the United Kingdom, studying community music at York St. John College. Upon graduation, she took the position of Vocal Music Director at Gilbertsville- Mount Upton Central School District in New York State, where she directed all of the junior and senior high choral ensembles and taught general music, music theory, and musical theater performance classes. In 2011, she joined the editorial team of Alfred Music Publishing, where she currently serves as Managing Editor of School Choral Publications. An accomplished pianist, Anna has considerable experience as a musical theater director, church musician, and freelance accompanist. She also sings alto with the North Carolina Master Chorale in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she currently resides.
