Grade 5 expands on the concepts form earlier levels and presents new ones: sixteenth-note patterns, seventh chords, finger independence, voicing, augmented triads, rubato, and assymetrical rhythms. Students continue to learn about the different eras of music, and refine their skills of pedaling, finger substitution, and musical terminology-�so they can play beautifully and intelligently.
